A most welcome and much needed boost.

When we were first mentioned in showing an interest I'll admit I had my reservations. He seemed to give a fair few needless free kicks away when at Southampton.

However, wow, what a signing. Seamlessly slotting in and doing the business. Monster of a player for us.

Can't wait to see him back.

Great news. I tactually hink Winks will look even better than he does now given a run of games next to Vic

Massive player, brings so much balance to our squad. And is a great threat from set pieces an area we look toothless in atm.

We really can't build our team around Winks good for the squad and should be rotated. Wanyama is massive for usI agree

If we get Toby and Victor back by January and suffer no further significant setbacks then we will finish in the top 4 imo.

At the moment?? We haven't been a threat from set pieces for decades!
Think once Lamela start taking corners and free kicks we'll do better. The year we had the tire mark kit, we were pretty good due to Alderwiereld's near post runs which have since been marked out.

Let's hope so. We've been so dire at set pieces the last couple of seasons that it feels like giving the ball away when we get one nowadays.

Great news, a little way still to go though it sounds.

Looking forward to the return of the Axis of the Beasts, and Toby behind them, and for a tight tough battle with the Old Lady in the new year!

Can’t wait to get him back as such a good player and last season didn’t have many bad games at all.

We’ve missed him this season.

Wanyama brings steel to our midfield that nobody else in the squad can replace. We were so solid last season with him and Dembele, and partnering him with Winks could be even more effective with Winks's ability to pass forwards.
