That is quite worrying if true about Wanyama.

There were worrying signs last season as his performances dropped dramatically and then he aggravated his knee again this pre-season causing him further set back in getting back to his best.

heard from a former physio at the club that the issue is similar to Ledleys:(:(

Terrible news and if true it highlights the short sightedness of not reinforcing during the transfer window. Especially taking into consideration Dembele’s issues and Winks returning from two ankle ops.

All in all awful team and squad planning.

And don’t get me started on the lack of creative players other than Eriksen!

Oh we're believing this random former physio over the club then?

Righto...o_O

No. I said “if true”.

Even if it isn’t true, he’s still had a knee op and recently broke down with an injury to the same knee. Those are the facts, as well as the issue with Dembele and Winks that I mentioned.

Is Windy considered ITK? Seems like those mumblings of Wanyama being moved on last summer were true. Think his injuries are a bigger issue than we all realized and the reason we're seeing non stop Dier. Christ Levy fucked this up.

So we have Dembele who has to nurse his ankle and manage his condition. Winks has come out and said that his ankle is never going to be perfect and he has to manage that, and big Vic allegedly has a knee that will require management.

All in all a midfield ready for the scrap yard?

We should go all out to sign Rabiot in Jan. I don't care if he has some issues, we desperately need a quality CM in.

Don’t worry we also have Dier and Sissoko

Can't believe our answer to having zero injury free / viable Central midfielders at the club was to spend an entire summer failing to sign Jack Grealish. Negligence pure and simple.

You have to wonder what sort of scouting system we actually have and if they’re any good, hard to see what they’ve been up to.

If he can’t get in this current side then you’ve got to ask questions about how bad he has been in training or if he’s even fit.

Just made a post but seems to have vanished. Anyways what’s the general opinion is he really good enough for a CL team or would you move him on ? I know he’s been injured. But it’s the same feeling I get with dier, can barely look every time they get the ball in tight areas for fear they will screw up.

He was like a dog chasing a car tonight. So off the pace. Couldn't get near the ball or Barcelona players first half.

He is way off his first season form and I am really worried we may never see it again.

He probably needs a run of games before we can really decide, but he certainly doesn't look it right now.

I know its tough to judge a midfield player vs. Barcelona but he just looked lost today, where in his Celtic days he made a name for himself based off an amazing performance against them.

He hasn't been the same since the injury. The question for me is whether that's because he just hasn't had the run of matches necessary to get back to full match sharpness or because he's done a Sandro :(
