I hope Vinny comes good. But add his fee up with Sissoko's rumoured and what we punted on N'Koudou we could have gone for a top drawer player that could be a genuine First 11 option. Hindsight obviously and hopefully a change in approach this summer
I've thought this in the past too but who would that top drawer player have been? Pogba maybe? He was nice and expensive.

Unfortunately we can't get those top drawer players because we can't pay the wages. The top drawer players go to Chelsea, City, Utd, Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, etc

Played well today, still looking for the defender too much and his passing was shall we say umm rusty. Overall though held the ball up well, looked up and played other people into the game (if slightly off passing), closed down well and was aware of rebounds etc when other people shot.

Hope he starts midweek as more playing time is what he desperately needs.

In the context of his confidence, I was happy that he attempted to manouvre around the burnley defenders to try and get a shot off. You can tell he's slowly getting on the same wavelength with the other players. This is going to be a crucial for month for him with all the upcoming games.

he had one of his better games for us, for sure. but when Son scored that tap in 2 minutes after coming on I thought Jannsen never would have been at the post. the biggest problem I see with him right now is his movement off the ball. and thats why he’s not getting the chances.

Did alright today. He isn't much of a goal threat but he was at least holding the ball up. His touch isn't the best but he was at least a handful.

I agree that it is his movement that needs improvement. The moment he came off Eriksen started to have an outlet over the top and immediately started putting pressure on Burnley. It's not all on Vince, but the formation change, Burnley tiring, and Son being a better forward at this stage killed off the game.

I more than happy to keep him as third choice striker behind Kane and Son. He's shown enough to keep persisting with.
