My my absence really does make the heart grow fonder doesn't it.

Have people forgotten how bad he was lol he is done at Spurs. It wasn't just his ability that needed improving it was his mentality, had the wrong body language, his head constantly dropped and would shy away from the ball,he was the total opposite of a Pochettino player and with at least a player like Sissoko his ability isn't the best but he's a fighter which is why he's still here. These are the kind of players Poch likes not player who feel sorry for themselves and unfortunately Janssen fits into that category.

So do I, I feel like he must have done something wrong, personally. And no, not something wrong such as playing shit, before the smart answers come! Can't remember another player that Poch has neglected as much. Even N'Koudou got a small cup run out against West Ham recently. Would still prefer him to Llorente.

He had a chance to go to Brighton and he never took it, I think that angered Poch because Janssen wasn't in his plans that season and he ended up having a wasted loan year in Turkey.

Heard this as well. No way back when you piss off the Poch!

Well Toby is back so there is always hope. The difference is Toby is a top class player and Janssen is far from it. If he was good enough he could still make it here but he isn't. Poch doesn't hold a grudge, he will forgive if you earn it.

A fair few of our former players would disagree with that.

Which of Kaboul, Capoue, Adebayor, Bentaleb or Townsend have we regretted losing after falling out with Pochettino? Walker is the only real example and even then, it’s not as if he’s been superb or as of our remaining options are massively inferior.

Bentaleb? If he was still with us, we probably wouldn't be so nervy about how thin of CM options we look at the moment (though now that Sissoko has remember how to play football the situation doesn't seem that bad anymore).

I remember in the dying moments in the NLD at the Emirates in 2016/17, someone pinged the ball to him and he caught a really crisp first time volley outside the box. The keeper saved and it was offside but fuck me if that went in...

What's Janssen's situation? Is he still injured? Would be great if we could move him on in January.
