Poch saw him everyday in training.

What if Jan and Toby made easy work of him and he didn't look like he could compete?
What if he wasn't finishing chances in training?
What if he couldn't complete the drills with as much efficiency as the others?
What if he wasn't clicking with others on the training field?

Poch's seen enough of him to judge that he's not the quality we need.

His hold up play is strong and he works hard for the team. Seen him play very well with the national team. With confidence I'm sure he could do well for us, but just about getting rid now that he's out in the cold with Pochettino.

No extreme qualities though, which I think is neccessary in the top of the Premier League.

I thought he was ok as a backup and needed some confidence, he scored goals in the Dutch league and has score lots at international level. In my view he could score goals in the premier league, I don't like the way Poch disregards some players at times.

What player has poch disregarded that was any good? ie not even registered

Strikers score goals. Janssen doesn't.

Could see him combining well with Lucas, who we've seen play further forward than the striker and in need of more a provider

Indeed.
Unfortunately people think he's somehow being hard done and he's really a good player but the truth is he isn't premier League standard at all.

Llorente has scored more in the same number of appearances with vin getting more minutes.

We took a punt like njie and it turned out to be a serious dud. No mystery

if poch clearly doesnt want him and he should have known aeons ago, and assuming both him and GKN genuinely wants to play football for a living still, WHY IS HE (ARE THEY) STILL AT SPURS?!?
