Obviously talented? He won a poor league with the largest team in it by far, and won Europes b competition. Since then he has failed at chavski and is struggling with us, managing to turn an exciting team into a bunch of boring try hards.

We may have different criteria for judging talent.

He is young, obviously talented and needs time

Harry has gone, we have moved on

We are not Chelsea

Indeed, but we should be getting better results at home against Norwich and WBA.

As long as people are realistic about our finishing position this year then i've no problem. Anything higher than 8th
will be good with so much change in such a short amount of time.

Losing our 3 best players in one window doesn't help either.

I hope this time next year we are in a much better shape.

If he needs time then maybe we should make him assistant and get someone in who can do a job for us NOW.... as time will see us slip backwards and end up back as a mid table team and not have any chance of going forward again.

I will support him. Not because he's young or needs time but because:

  • We have lost our 3 best players, whoever we buy to replace them will not make for an easy time
  • We have bought players late and it's going to take time to put the team together
  • I believe we are in need of a bit of an overhaul and the transition is never instant
  • He is the Spurs manager.

The question for me is will the Harry haters get behind the manager?

Harry never had the full support of the fans and he was our BEST manager in the PL.

We replaced him with a known flop, and it showed today. That was an awful match and it was because of AVB.

Yeah booing the team after 20 minutes isn't going to help, crowd need to stop the booing, it's frustrating being outplayed by Norwich at home but then they did exactly the same to us last season and we...LOST. We got a draw, onwards and upwards eh?

It will take time for this team to start gelling together, as with any team where there has been drastic changes. Postivie notes is that we have Hugo Lloris and Clint Dempsey to come into the squad. Reading away will hopefully be:

Lloris
Naughton Dawson Vertonghen Ekotto
Sandro Dembele
Dempsey Sigurdsson Bale
Adebayor

Maybe we will start seeing some presence upfront then with Dempsey and Ade trying to muscle their way past opponents. We need to improve our forward line because at the moment Defoe shooting from 20, Bale and Lennon swapping wings is clear not working.

What is your evidence of that?

He has only managed for something like two seasons in total. One in Portugal was very successful.

I don't know why we gave him the job.

The biggest problem today was setting a sour mood from the beginning, by not starting Dembele and Ade. There could have been some feel-good atmosphere if he had started the right team.

I will give him a chance but he needs to think more about how to create positive psychology. He completely failed at that today.
