when asked about Harry...
''For me, he's in his best form. I think score or not score I don't have doubts about this. He's in his best form. He worked a lot for the team. Be sure that he is going to score. But what happens with Harry is that he cannot score three goals in every game''.

For me Harry & Dier both looked a long way short like they could have both done with a pre season.

I thought Dier played well and was one of our best on the day, Kane on the other hand I agree couldn't do anything right.

Hope Poch doesn’t really think that about Harry

In some of the worst form of his career since breaking through IMO in terms of how sharp he looks and really doesn’t look a threat at all

A combo of being run into the ground with no rest and rushing back from his injury - Just think he needs another few weeks of getting some rest and being rotated and Llorente needs to finally step up

It's good for Poch to protect Kane in public, but we've seen before Poch likes to play people in to form. The unfortunate thing here is that Kane looks out of sorts physically, not something I would put down to form... If we aren't going to trust our back-ups to play at home to a newly promoted team.. when are we in the PL?

Makes a mockery of having them if the only thing they're good for is a game at home to Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup imo.

Poch is pure class in the way he "defends" and supports his players. Credit to him for that. I´m pretty confidant that if Winks, Wanyama (and likely Lamela?) all had been fit and injury free, they would have started and/or come off the bench. Dier would have been rested, Dembele too. The surprise for me was starting Kane instead of Son (or even Llorente); ever since he came back after his last injury he´s not looked his best. Far from it. I understand that he wants to play and score in every game, but sometimes management has to say "no", and think about the longer run - both for team and player. To me it looks like Harry should be rested for a couple of weeks which would be a huge benefit for him both physically and mentally.
