I mean Poch saying we are very focused on adding players and at the same time, we appear to have a bid rejected for Zaha, which make it seem like we really are after Zaha and it isn't just an agent trying to get his client a pay rise.
Do you think Zahar was meant to replace him

whats happed to @Allygold , not had his post up for last couple of matches, hope he's alright
It was pointed out that my posts were coming across a bit like advertising, which was never my intention at all, more to get some debate started on various things. But I could certainly see how it might come across like that.
I'm still writing plenty and it's all on the website, but I don't want to force it on anyone. If anything of mine gets picked up on the front page, which a couple have, then that's great. There's a nice interview with Jan Vertonghen which I'm hoping gets picked up at some point. He's a great talker is Super Jan.

well unless it's anyone from above then I suppose you have to behave, but if it's just a few members moaning then either let them moan, or suggest to them to not read, because i bet there are more that enjoy the posts than don't.

It's a little over the top to call it advertising since the topic you write about is the topic of concern for this community. It'd be different if you were posting content about the comfort of cushions or the reliability of cars. Posting your articles as conversation starters is no different to "advertising" all of the other content from newspaper and broadcaster websites that people post. The fact that a member of the community is also a professional sports writer is a feature and not a bug. You should fire away with posting your content - this site helps aggregate all things Spurs and community contributions from other publications should be no different.

It's really no big deal and I completely understand it. I've got a lovely connection with this wonderful website and I don't want to do anything to jeopardise that.
I'm now one of the media bunch that Mr Mawspurs collates his stories from on the front page and I'll get a real thrill whenever he collates anything of mine on there. That's when I know I've made it!

That's crazy, you're one of our own and I dare say most of us want to read all your new articles and hear of your exploits on here. Many of us were drawn to this site because of the quality of your writing so it would be shame for SC to lose that.

To be fair, and not that I'm personally invested or bothered, but this is in keeping with previous policies on SC. We've had great posters before who linked to their pieces on other websites, and it was shut down after a few threads regardless of how good of a read said pieces were.

Exactly. This is spot on and why it's completely correct. News and links to other websites should be for the front page.
