I've seen Poch refer to him a couple of times
over a word or phrase he is struggling to translate.

A little insight:

Has Fernando Llorente spoken to you and asked for more game time?

He works like a champion. He is a top professional and never this type of player asks you about minutes. How they behave is they work hard, try to convince the manager and show they deserve to play. This type of player will never knock on your door and say, ‘I want to play more’.

The reality is our job is to analyse every player and try to be fair with everyone. Of course no manager likes a player knocking on their door asking for more minutes. The players need to knock the door on the pitch and show they deserve to play.

Some weird questions in there today, why was he being asked about African players and mark Sampson?

Also that dele thing is a bit suspicious, I think the only reason we aren't hearing more about it is because of the lack of cameras. I smell bullshit and reckon he was a bit frustrated with criticism recently and maybe lack of support. The "in joke with a friend" excuse is getting quite tiring

To me the dele thing rings true because if you look at the celebration he clearly looks in a certain direction/place before doing it.

Even if it was a joke with a friend, how fucking stupid do you have to be to put your hand up to your ear in front of your own fans and not think that may be interpreted differently

I love dele and have defended him through his bit of "bad form" but I just wish he would think sometimes

Why would Llorente ask for more game time when he's only been here for a hot minute?

Oh...and Poch is awesome.

Just curious, Jesus Perez has always been present in the press conference as well right? Did he actually speak at all? Because he speaks really well and if I remember correctly his voice is amazing. Just haven't seen him talk in the conference. :D

Poch turns to him usually if he's not understood something or can't think of the word in English. Not sure why Perez speaks better English than Poch though. He's been in England for the same amount of time.

Poch on Winks - “We have to be careful. After a lot of time out we need to provide him with a good rest.”

Poch on Dembele

✔@AlasdairGold
Poch when asked if Dembele will be out for a longer period. "I don't know. We need more information."
