I saw a friend of mine who is a Gooner this evening. He didn't bother to gloat about the result. He just kept saying "Sanchez, I mean your Sanchez, looks really good, how much did he cost...?" I told him Sanchez is only 21 and he nearly shat himself.

Incredibly high ceiling with this guy. Settled in seamlessly and has steadily improved which are both marks of a top talent.

Sanchez on track to be groomed by RM and any other mega rich clubs who just buy players rather than make them.

Sanchez on track to be center of CONSTANT media speculation every transfer window from now until he eventually leaves Spurs.

Credit to Levy and Poch that we've now over half a dozen players coveted by the worlds best rather than just the 1 as in the recent past.

'Can Spurs keep him though??'
Oh do fk off please lol

Looks a real talent. A back 3 of Toby, Sanchez and Vert's. Think that's the best in the league.

In fact, that 3 stacks up pretty well across Europe.

A truly class signing for a snip at today’s prices. Will only get better.

I think he is brilliant and you have to say the club did well in getting him I am just not sure how long we can keep him before the big boys want him.

You've got a point but given age and potential and the current market I reckon we could demand £150m for him.

Yes agree think we can keep him first year into new stadium but after that wages and big prizes normally lure them away, but again 150m the club would love that sort of return.

I have never seen us sign a player who just fitted into are club that quickly and smooth,Then again when you have Verts and Toby you will become World class. The scaring thing is the guy is only going to get better and if anytime we sell it will be a world record bid for a centre back. What a buy

Yeah he'll learn from today, just a shame that the first time he felt the force of Rondon resulted in a goal...

So we sacrificed two points
just to throw the big boys off track.
A cunning plan if ever there was one.

The fact that we are all on here saying how much we will get for him is exactly why the media speculation exists. We are In London, with a new stadium nearly ready, the best training facilities in Europe, the new tv deal money in the bank, champions league football, the best young coach in the world and we still cant hold on to a player? Why cant we? We must at some point in the future pay our players the going rate. Then we can attract the best, not lose them.

If you see the wins the Gooners and City got today, then Lady Luck is not exactly fluttering her eye lashes at us!
