Toby aside, this is the most significant bit of business we will do all summer.
It indicates that Levy loves the job Poch is doing, and likewise that Poch believes he is going to be backed in his requirements going forward.
It should silence at least half the naysayers, although they'll just find some other way to upset the apple cart.

Whether Toby stays or goes is so important, vital almost. It's not even close to how important it is that Mauricio sticks around though. Shows just how irreplaceable he is.

Absolutely fantastic news and as others have mentioned the best signing we will make this summer.
Make no mistake Poch wouldnt have signed if we didnt have money or ambition. Fasten your seatbelt guys think its going to be an exciting summer !!

Wouldn’t it be nice if every single journalist and pundit who stated that Poch was definitely off had to apologise on live tv and admit they genuinely haven’t got a clue about the club or the man himself.

Maybe it could be turned into an hour long documentary on terrestrial tv.

An extra way for Baldy to show his support for Poch is to tell all those reporters who had written or said on TV and radio that Poch was leaving to publicly apologize or they'll never be admitted to the new WHL.

Now posted in the right thread. Sorry @Archibald&Crooks

£8.5m per year according to the Telegraph and the Standard. Not bad for a man with no agent!

Very promising sign for him to be paid that much if true. Puts him 3rd behind Pep and Jose (unless you believe the Pellegrini £10m rumours). Big commitment by Levy.

And he saved the agent's cut which is 10,15 or 20%?

All that is needed now is for Liverpool to lose, so that attention can be brought back to the draw at Anfield and the two point gap between us. Just for fun, you understand.
