No trophies (unless you count finishing in the top 4) until at least 2024 then!

Fucking great

The manager is the most important person at a football club
The best signing we could have made this Summer

This is a massive message to the fans about our aspirations and how the chair man is going to back the manager. Exciting is an understatement.
I hope so, of course he could of offered him a shed load of cash over the next five years and a contract that win lose or draw seals Poch’s retirement fund, right now!
I am sure Levy assured him that he would back him to the best of his ability, question is, what is he’s best? Martial? Keeping Kane, keeping Toby? Who knows, I guess we will find out soon. But I don’t think it will be to challenge for the big money signings that Man U, Man City and Chelski will be after, sorry sonical I know but it’s just not the Levy or Board way. And you know what maybe they are right and maybe Poch thinks they are right and is happy to try and challenge for the title under those conditions? Again, I am sure come August time we will see what there shared aspersions were and are.

"Daniel and I have spoken at length about our aspirations for this football club. We both share the same philosophies to achieve long-term, sustainable success.
"This is a special club - we always strive to be creative in the way we work both on and off the pitch and will continue to stick to our principles in order to achieve the success this Club deserves."

Slightly ominous ending from the OS.

Poch: I want a better contract and transfer funds.
Daniel: We don't just have hundreds of millions. How about you keep doing what you're doing but we pay you truckloads to do it while we pay off debts. We can afford to pay you loads, but not loads of players on heavy wages too.
Poch: Can I be the highest paid manager in the league?
Daniel: Fine

-handshake-

or it could be a smokescreen to keep prices low and we are about to spend 1.5bn on a dream team COYS!!!!
This is so funny but could be closer to the truth than we thinking ( rye smile)

Owing to a busy day yesterday i’ve only
just seen this.

This is by far the biggest thing for us since he first joined the club. I feel we are at that turning point where we either stick or twist and either Poch is in it for the money or he has gotten the much rumoured assurances from Levy over our summer business. Either way even if it helps to just keep the existing squad in one piece the development is still massive. I’m delighted.

Oh my fucking God. Not even 24 hours have passed & the press have already started plotting his escape. I bet you can't guess which particular Spanish based news outlet has started the ball rolling :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Mauricio Pochettino’s new contract release clause should concern Tottenham fans

However, fans will come back down to earth with a bump when they read MARCA‘s reports which claim that the contract includes an escape clause which would allow Pochettino to depart the club if Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain come calling.

The report goes on to state that the former Espanyol and Southampton boss is desperate to one day manage the Champions League finalists, whilst his history as a player at PSG would certainly make a move there appealing.

Not sure you should expect much else if you choose to get your news from blog websites. They want clicks, nothing more.

They do it because they know Spurs fans will be outraged complaining about agendas etc. Best to just ignore it.

Jim White(noise) will squeeze another week of guff out of this shite on radio redtop. The bloke’s devoid of a personality; the perfect vessel to communicate innane drivel in between pernicious betting ads.

I didn't & don't read blogs. I got a notification on my phone from an app called White knight (Which I was pointed to for somewhere to watch a stream of our game against Newcastle whilst I was in hospital) . It had that story, I remembered someone saying yesterday about how long before the press come up with something about him leaving, thought it was amusing, so found it online & posted it in here.
