He keeps saying the right thing. And I like him saying "because we are Tottenham". Just hope that he does all the right things next season.

I don't mind what he's said there. Unless we're bought out by some rich oil money then we do have to be a bit canny. Things like the Modric and Van der Vaart signings for example. Real quality but not £80m+

It would be so refreshing to get our business done early in the summer so the whole squad barring injuries can get a Poch pre-season under their belt. The big BUT as we all know is getting rid of the deadwood first.

I think if we can get in more of his type of player then we can really push on next season. It's not just about players to fit his system, its about players who will follow his instructions and that he can trust to do the job he has asked them to do.

Really positive interview. He's right as well. We can't compete with the 5 above us on a financial level. But why can't we aim to be the best by bringing through the best young players, who bleed spurs and mixing them with a few smart experienced purchases (something we've on occasions been very good at) with everyone at the club pulling in the same direction.

I'm not the biggest, but I've never lost a fight because I'm the quickest, smartest and most determined!

I'm not the richest, but I always get the girl because I'm the quickest (no jokes thank you), smartest and most determined and double handsome.

Despite some awful performances this year I feel like we're in great shape with the clearest direction that we've had as a club for some time. It may require a little more patience though from Levy and the fans, neither of whom have proven they have that attribute.

Poch is saying some of the same things that I've been saying. He is delivering a message to Levy and the board very cleverly and very diplomatically.

I'm glad we've gone with a manager that values having a philosophy over a tacticianist. I truly believe the first method has a better sustainable legacy.
We need to marry our development programme with the first team like Barcelona Ajax etc the key though for us is to stick by Pochettinho long term.

You need among other things tactics to win games not just having one way of playing and being unable to change it.
And philosophy is a poncy way of saying playing style its nothing ti get too excited about.

The only problem when you're bringing through Spurs blood is that you get the majority of our supporters just writing players off far to quickly ie Mason Rose Townsend Bentaleb pushing for that shiny new player....it's so annoying listening to some of our fans who seem so short sighted

Our tactic is possession and pressing without the ball which is part of the philosophy

I agree that this is his intention, but the difficulty is as it has been in the past few summers: we need to sell players, too, and the club is not so financially powerful (except after we sell a player unwillingly for a huge sum) that it can lash out on new players until it can rely upon selling the ones they will replace and until it has a canny notion of how much the sales will raise.

Quickly! Tottenham Hotspur! - Does not compute.

If he could work towards getting the players to move quickly and move the ball quicker and think a bit quicker i'd be grateful, also if he wouldn't mind signing a couple of players that have some pace about them it'd be a nice novelty to have.

If i have to witness the opposition get everyone set and behind the ball while we fanny about trying to take a long throw/any other set piece i think i might just loose it.

While i'm at it can we just stop fucking about with inverted wingers especially when playing at home and we have no space as it is and what in blithering hell is it with our club and not getting players into the box i can't remember the last time we regularly had more than one or two players in the box, hell just two would be nice.

What he says is right, we can't outspend a handful of teams in the premier league let alone the likes of Real or Barca. We either need to outsmart them or, as I've long said, create the best players ourselves. Neither plan is easy, all the champions league teams send scouts to the same games where we send our scouts and we haven't produced many players who've made it to the top recently apart from King and Kane. I've got hopes for Mason, Bentaleb and Pritchard but if Real come knocking it's not easy.
