I am sorry but what is the point of the journalists asking this question every week when they know they are going to get the same canned answer.

I think Capoue is a decent player - certainly looks better than Stambouli to me. But if Poch doesn't fancy him I won't shed any tears for him. There is usually not smoke without fire. Poch doesn't strike me as an AVB or Sherwood who needs to pick fights to demonstrate his authority, and I haven't seen any inexplicable rows with people who ought to be in the first team based on ability.

A sad end though to Kaboul's Spurs career, which was ultimately destroyed by injury when he had just finished developing into a top Premiership centre back. See also - Sandro.

As for Adebayor, I've been one of his biggest fans, and even as something of an AVB fan I used to argue for Ade to come back in. Reluctantly, I think we all have to draw the conclusion that the guy is just impossible to work with on anything other than his own terms. You might bend over backwards to accommodate Messi or Ronaldo, but Ade ain't that good. If he wanted to, he could improve our team, but he isn't going to so it's time to say goodbye.
