Alli was in fine form throughout last season, scoring 22 goals in all competitions, but has been less influential this season compared to the likes of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen

Nice fatherly words from Poch.

But when you have a player who is the 2nd most dispossessed player in the league, you know you need to drop him. Those stats alone speak a lot about a player that is woefully out of form and needs to be dropped for someone who is performing better.

Son has to come in for Dele

Dele has the ability. He hasn't hit top form but good players don't become bad players overnight.

This seems to be positive for Danny:
“It is so difficult to be playing football and feeling the love and then after one injury you find yourself on the corner and ignored,” he said. “Sometimes players are different characters. Sometimes they explode. Sometimes they are sad. It is important for us as staff to manage them in the right way.”

Was at the game today and thought we carried Dele today. He just seems to require that extra touch at the moment. I think he needs bench time for 1 or 2 games just to get his mojo back. Easier to get that back in a flowing team. Maybe put Son in his position for a few games.

Huge fan of Trippier but today he lacked that urgency to get into attacking positions. That needs to change.

Wow that's a lot of negatives

He’s always going to have a high % of being dispossessed and wayward passes as his role in the team is to create rather that just circulate the ball.

He moves into dangerous areas where there’s high risk of losing the ball but a very high reward if it comes off. Yes he seems to have dropped his intensity a bit but I’ve got no doubt that he’ll have an influence in the big games coming up

Agree. No good having 100% pass completion rate if all you're doing is passing sideways and backwards like we did for whole of 1st half yesterday.
Christ it made my eyes bleed.
