Good professional attitude-no respect for some of the past critics who weren't able to see how hard this guy was trying

He's had a rough time with the consolation of 80k per week. I'm glad he's managed to turn things around and hope he continues to improve. He's undoubtedly a powerhouse of a player and he's always been professional and extremely hard working. He'll always be a limited footballer with the compensation that he's a superb athlete. Never understood why we bought him but I'm more than happy to be proved wrong, which will be the case if he keeps performing like ha has in the last couple of games. He certainly brings something different to table.

What have his wages got to do with anything?
I keep reading this in regards to Sissoko but surely all players are limited?

Lots of people have a tough time. Not many get 80k per week while they're having it. Ultimately, the fans pay the wages and have some expectations of the players receiving them. If he was rubbish but on £350 a week it wouldn't matter.

He hasn't just chosen what he earns, we've agreed to it.
More importantly, how is any of that nonsense relevant when he's playing well?

Don't see how his pay packet is relevant to his performances, it's nonsense.

The fact he's been our best player in the last few games he's played suggests you should be careful calling him limited.
If he's limited, the others have been basically handicapped.

I’ve been Sissoko harshest critic. But massive ???? over the last few weeks. We’re scrapping and getting results especially on the road and he’s been immense and played a massive part.

He's paid to train.

Still not a fan. He is playing better but he is not incredible. Still very limited in vision to playa pass to unlock the opposition 90% time. We have seen an improvement in form from him before it’s a blip in an average players career. If he is playing like this 80% between now and next year I will change my tune.

The team is showing a lot of heart this season. No signings, no pre season, no home ground. Poch has had to deal with injuries to many first choice players. Yet he has been able to give a “rest” to the key players that went deep into the World Cup. This has allowed others to be given more games than they otherwise may have got. Step forward Moussa Sissoko, has taken his chance with both hands and has shown the quality he has. Just the type of player and attitude we need when things get tough. In the pouring rain on the weekend he was central to our victory. Definitely developing a cult following. COYS.

Said it before, will say it again. This is why you don't write off any player who plays for the shirt, unless they disrespect the club.

It is nice to see some of those who slagged him off eating their words, even if the player doesn't sustain it long term.

He's not the most technically gifted of our squad, but you need players like Sissoko to do the hard graft to allow the more gifted ones to play. At times it can be frustrating to watch misplaced passes and the ball bouncing off his shins but he's working hard at the moment and making things happen as a result.

He's taken some serious stick....and maybe deserved at times but I must take my hat off to this guy. I've seen players crumble under the pressure and before long end out in the wilderness. It seems like Sissoko got his head down, worked hard and we're seeing the benefits on the pitch

Which is twice as impressive when you think of the reputation he had at Newcastle.
