Erik Lamela will remain a Tottenham player after Mauricio Pochettino reportedly prevented the winger from moving to Marseille.

If Erik stays maybe we will see some definite improvement from him. I assume Njie will also be vying for a wing position and will be breathing down his ass.

Oh dear, looks like we're not gonna bring in anyone else to me.
Why else would Pochettino jump in now

I've read that the Marseilles loan was stopped because Everton or another Premier League side were interested in a straight-up buy. That sounds too good to be true, but for 3 more hours, I'll choose to believe it! The guy probably wont see much game time anyway with the new signings already made, but it'd be better for all concerned if he could find a new club.

If it is Everton that are interested, how about a deal involving Mirallas?

Why wasn't he involved on Sunday?

Ryan Mason wide right was embarrassing.

Especially when he was our greatest threat from the centre.

No idea why some players, good players just can't perform at Tottenham...

He does show glimpses of what a great player he is, maybe it's just the league being too physical for him.

Still hopeful for him, heck I never lost hope in soldado.

Those of us (I'm one I admit it) who've said give him time he'll come good know it's now or never time. First season we can almost excuse with injuries but after three years he has to have done something or it's time to move him on and we won't get much money back. Hopefully Poch knows what he's doing.
