But Pochettino pointedly listed Chelsea's four summer signings, who cost around £120 million, and said Arsenal would be the champions if the manager's longevity was that important.

Nice. All we needed was another three Sissokos

Mate of mine is a Chelsea supporter. So, I start getting the texts tonight to try for a wind up. I sent him one back that said "Congratulations to Chelsea for winning the EPL, and while I'm about it, Congratulations to Ben Johnson for winning the 100m and Lance Armstrong for winning The Tour de France 7 years running". The texts stopped after that.

Not surprising comments from a very egoistic man- he's not in Pochettino 's league as far as real human talent goes.

To be honest I don't entirely agree. I had thought of Conte as a Mourinho Mark II with his emotional celebrations. But after they lost at the Lane, his post match views were gracious, reflected humility and were professional. My opinion of him really went up after that. Clearly top quality coach and manager, generally speaks his mind (what he said about Fabregas's comments for example) and not really some silly mind tricks. I think his opinion on this one seemed pretty much just his opinion, which Poch did not agree with - no big deal, disagree and move on.

His recruitments were expensive but were well gelled into a team, got the team going with some good results - even his players stopped behaving like pricks to a large extent (for example Costa under Jose and Conte - marked difference) - and all in all deserved champions. With the FA Cup also most likely to be theirs, a very successful season after a slow start. I guess one must respect that and say well done Conte.

He is obviously a top manager but it is still all about money. He would not be at Chelsea if it was not for the Abramovic money.

Oh yeah I agree - but it's just that he should be compared to the likes to Mourinho, Guardiola and Wenger who have equal if not more money and have been around longer in the league. He has clearly out performed them - the basis of his comment, which I actually agree with. Can't compare Chelsea with us (which Poch and I both disagree with) or even Liverpool to a certain extent - they are on a different financial level.

It's a terrible dilemma now with the FA cup. The only remedy is some catastrophe that causes the demise of both teams. Maybe, some sort of ransom ware can be placed in Abramovich's computer system or the FBI turn up some nefarious links to money laundering.

I want Arsenal to win it (a little bit of sick just came up but hear me out). I don't what the Chavs to win it and particularly I don't want them to win the double. If Arse win it Wenger will almost definitely stay, so in a 'would you rather lose an eye or a gonad' sort of way my preference is Arsenal. Hope they kick the shit out each other as well.

I cannot see how we had an advantage, they have and had a significantly bigger transfer budget, on top of a significantly higher salary cap, meaning more players are likely consider signing for them and ironically that probably gave them the advantage of signing Batshuayi, as we had she shown interest in signing him.

This is all coupled with them having no European fixtures in the season, in conclusion and in response to Conte's assertion, it would be more accurate to say that they probably had an advantage. In the unlikely event that Burnley or West Brom had won the league after Leicester's achievements then it could be said that in terms of finances and squad sizes and resources we may have had an advantage.

Prefer Chelsea to win cup - if it means we enter the charity shield (more profile for us)

Your post is much more appropriate than the one directly above it.

Not a total cnt in the Jose sense but the histrionics, waving imaginary cards stuff is still classless.

Poch, by contrast, hardly ever loses it and surely is more deserving of the accolades.

And neither would any other facker be at that Club without the money.
