Sounds like he doesn't fancy being in the europa league.

Pretty much. I think he is alluding to playing youth for the EL fixtures if we qualify for it. Best thing about the whole thing is no one can accuse Poch of playing a weaker team/using youth to make up numbers seeing as he uses youth in the league (y)

Sometimes I´m 100% certain that I , as a Spurs fan, am starring in the footballing equivalent to the Truman Show.

If I am, kindly enlighten me, as I´m tired of this bloody merry-go-round...

Harry did the same, anyway. No harm in it before Xmas.

So, it's April and we hadn't lost at WHL since November, prior to which we couldn't win at WHL. Yet, there seems to have been an almighty meltdown with the usual troglodytes coming out of their caves, waving their "Bring back Tim'n'Arry" banners; and burning effigies of Latin managers.

So much negative crap on this site now. Yes I am disappointed this late in the season as up to February all looked well and we had a chance of winning something or having a top 4 finish......no one complained the! OK we have lost our way but I think we looked shagged out after all the games we have played this season and some teams have worked out our system and weaknesses. I feel there will be a clear out but some players will come good next season. Give Poch a chance.

Mate this is a spot on post but too many on here seem to be almost enjoying the negativity and pulling down our players/ coach

Other than the Chelsea and arsenal games we've been terrible when we win let alone when we lose.
With every passing week it looks like another player has lost the will to participate.

I was truly shocked when I heard we hadn't lost at home since November, it feels like we've hardly won save for the aforementioned games.

Hindsight is wonderful. Getting really bored of people hating on our signings.

They are all very good players just turns out they didn't work out. Get over it :)
I agree they are all good players, in the right side, in the right league, with the right tactics. But it would be nice if occasionally we signed someone to address a particular problem rather than just signing generic footballers without any apparent thought as to how we intend to use them.

you seem to write that with a bit of hope in your typing.....am sure that is not the case but there are some weird sentiments around SC

You should stick to your day job. Second guessing is just not your forte.

We have lost at home since November.

We shagged ourselves out! We knew that EL and runs in the cup competition would mean a certain number of games, so why always use the same players and same tactics?
Why didn't MoPo use the 'entire' squad?
We make too much excuses!

Poch has given up on about two thirds of the squad. Which is quite shocking really. I have never known a manager freeze out so many players. The problem is that we are not going to be able to shift them all in the summer. So then what?

And I get the impression that he freezes them out not specifically based on football! Just my thought tho!

Spot on Edward, but this is inevitable when you have no continuity in the coaching/management of the club.

Let's hope levy sticks with poch, just to stop this stock piling of players the next incumbent doesn't want. I think that poch only rates Lloris, Walker, Dier, Mason, Bentaleb, Eriksen and Kane out of the current squad.

I was watching the Bundesliga this weekend and the commentary team said Hamburg have had 12 managers in 5 1/2 years.

Now they are facing a relegation battle that they might lose.

One guy comes in, signs players, sells some. Gets fired.
Next guy comes in, has everyone's left overs, buys more, sells some. Gets fired.
Next guy comes in, more left overs, buys some, sells some. Gets fired. Etc

Spurs have a similar pattern and the squad is made up of players bought for or on behalf of different coaches as a result.. it's a patchwork of misfits. Needs a proper clear out if possible and some faith in the manager - whoever it turns out to be.

I think he wants players who are on message. He is not a broad church manager who can accommodate a lot of diversity. It is no coincidence that the chosen few are all young and inexperienced, and doubtless therefore more susceptible to being moulded. There is a touch of the cult about Poch's philosophy.

"Negative crap"? The reason why all the nasty men are so angry is because we've had to sit back (often paying huge sums of money for the privilege) and watch this season fall apart, culminating in a pathetic performance, losing at home to a hopeless, pubic hair of a side. Maybe Poch should have played 442 at home? Who knows...

But you're OK about this are you? Cause I couldn't be more disappointed and more disenfranchised by this to be honest.
