He never said impressive performances.
Please don't bring verifiable facts into the discussion.

From the article:
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has no regrets over failing to add to his squad in the close season, saying his team's impressive start to the Premier League campaign justifies the decision.

At no point did I say Pochettino said it was impressive, I was referencing the entire article, before you try to use that bollocks.

Impressive?
We have labored to wins against Newcastle, Cardiff, Huddersfield and Fulham. The bottom 4 teams in the league. The only other 2 wins - 13th and United, the worst United for decades.
Lost both CL games
Lost and drew to Watford
Lost to Liverpool.
Really the only genuine high point is beating a Man United side that's on its knees.
But the point tally is the best for years. Wooptydo.

Let's see what it looks like after we have played Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea in the coming couple of months.
Love the caveats, but I note that you forgot to mention that we lost to one of the greatest performances by an individual already thought to be one of the greatest ever; that we actually beat Watford in the Carabao (that's how it works); that we should have had a penalty in the Liverpool game that probably would have earnt us a draw. You are beyond parody.

Maybe Levy is making him say that stuff, same as Levy is making players say stuff and sign new contracts when they're really uhappy..............;)

Maybe but going purely on our track record we would have bought 3 or 4 at least in the Summer.
Again agree we normally do but this year seemed strange as there was a chance to push on but no taken but hey what can we do as mere fans other than support the club.

You mean Janssen and Llorente didn't push Kane? (Tongue in cheek)
No one is pushing Eriksen to be fair.

It's 8 games in.
As I clearly said, let's see what that looks like at the end of November when we've played city, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Obviously, as you clearly wrote, it's too early to form conclusions and yet you did.

You actually did. Poch said the start to the season is impressive. You replied with 'impressive' as the start of your response showing you related the impressive start to impressive performances, why else would you start your response like that ?

He is factually correct, the start to the season is indeed, impressive.

Aren't you the same guy that couldn't understand the concept of a 6-pointer?

To be fair, sitting 2 points off the top of the league after 8 games is quite impressive, particularly with an injury ravaged squad and no summer signings. Not to mention the fact that we haven’t moved into our proper home yet, (hate feckin Wembley!!).
ManUre used to win titles by picking up points and staying in the race when not playing well....
Not sure where your heart is but your constant negativity is beginning to wear a little thin.

I remember after 3 or 4 games of AVB's last season people were going on about our good start.
Then we got twatted by City and Liverpool and beaten by Arsenal.
Although we could well have drawn 2-2 with pool, we were lucky it was only 2-1 really.
Watford was pathetic, we barely had a decent shot.
What I'm saying is, we have struggled when actually tested.
We've had games like Inter and Brighton where we've been in complete control and gone so far off the boil in the last 1/4 of the match we've lost one and nearly threw the other away.

Our points tally is impressive, especially with the injuries. I just don't think we have been very impressive at all this season.
I did enjoy the 2nd half against Barcelona though.
