Wonder how the conversation went? Maybe Poch just laughed at him for five minutes then told him not to be such a twat, or something like that

As you say, couldn't have been a long conversation. Ensure both feet touching ground, ball comes from behind your head.

Oh...and shave that stupid feckin beard off.

I was always astounded when I saw people who had played amateur (and watched professional) football for 20 or 30 years commit a foul throw, or get some other completely basic rule wrong.

To see a professional do it is kind of mind-boggling.

Probably gave him a whole training session practicing to make sure he'd got it.

He knows how to take a throw in, he knows where to put the ball to make a decent cross, he knows not to dive in off his feet............

I can think of worse technical things than a foul throw ie too many professionals are unable to use both feet.. . The game is called football not hand ball

It says something about him that it happened more than once in the same game. It's not a big deal, but it could become one if he doesn't learn on this and other issues.

Of course it's not a big deal however the whole media and it's dog bloody well made it so.

I Pretty sure Aurier's take hundreds of throw ins before, it was a bad day at the office and many other players will have to brush up on the role...( son with the pen etc)

What really gets me is how people (might) assume his not all there...reading some of the comments.

The referees ain't constant anyway... How many times do we see footballers taking corners, fail to put the ball inside the quadrant ...hardly a word or media storm .
