Both correct decisions but brave of Moss to give them. We wouldn't have got either decision a few seasons ago and it would have been very easy for the officials to bottle it today, but they didn't.

Even though they had several hours to check the rule book and study all the TV footage, it didn't seem to stop Lawro and Jenas (with the encouragement of Jason Mohamed) coming to entirely the wrong conclusion about the first penalty. Have they so little self-awareness or were they just shamelessly playing to to the Liverpool supporting viewers?

Couldn’t believe the motd coverage even with Jeans involved who’s usually pro spurs.

Was hoping Poch gave Klopp a little dig to the ribs at the end when they all went up to the red. Absolutely detest Klopp

Love Poch's tactic here... be super nice to Ref's so we get more decisions our way! Clever clever Mr Chino

The officials get it in the neck even when they get a really tough call right in intimidating surroundings. Thick pundits. Who'd be a ref eh?

Nice to see some proper refereeing in this game. The fact that the ref and assistant fully discussed the incidents before the ref made a decision has to be good for the game. If this was done more then video refereeing would not be necessary. Even if they get it wrong from time to time at least the process is transparent. In the match against ManU there were some poor decisions especially the penalty we should have had but the officials seemed less than competent

TBF Jenas is a very good pundit though. It just happens he is wrong on this occasion. Of course Lawro is just a **** of the highest order
