Well, he's on a learning curve himself and is having to work things out. We should expect it and support him, because he's bloody good.
No he is not. He is not bloody good. That's just fan boy phrases without any substance or any root in reality what so ever. So far, he's shown that he is perfectly decent. Probably decent +. Maybe he will become bloody good in the future, it is possible but nobody with their right, objective mind can say that he IS bloody good.

And I don't think "support" always equal "do not for one minute think about criticising". After three summer transfer windows, because that's what he' had, after three summer windows, who must take responsibility for not having a strong enough squad?

Well, quite a few people in the know think he's bloody good. You know, like Alex Ferguson, but you'd probably call him a fan boy. Just because you think he's not good means fuck all to me, because I don't think your opinion amounts to anything. Also, stop building straw men: I didn't say that support meant not criticising him. Finally, he hasn't been solely responsible for all the purchases; he only became manager this year and before that was head coach. Another of your bloody straw men.
I'd like to know who of our last few managers you would rate as good.

From memory, we were looking to buy players that fit a certain profile, up and coming players who we could improve etc etc

My take on this, which might be right or wrong, is that Poch is now suggesting that maybe some of the more finished article is required which if correct, means he's learning from mistakes.

But that won't matter to some. The site children already want him out.

In Redknapp's last year, we had a very balanced team with a mix of great, experienced and emerging talents. That was the time when we had the best chance of winning the league, but focus was lost.

And who do you think is good, because a lot of people who are knowledgable of the sport (ie, not you) think he's one of the best young coaches around? As stated above, the likes of Ferguson.
Fergie ha ha! David Moyes springs to mind.
Poch was a coach with a mediocre cv when appointed by DL. Woeful record in cup competitions, very good defensively and apart from that it's all a bit ho hum.
Sorry to say cannot see any silverware heading our way anytime soon.

The CL proved that a team FULL of kids won't win anything, and a flying fuck i don not give who quotes Hansen's famous sentence about Yanited all those years ago. That side at that time were not full of kids.

In Fergies illustrious span:

"United may have won the league with six players under the age of 23 playing over 10 games that season but no other side in Premier League history has even matched that figure".

I think we need some expericne in among our current crop of quality youngsters, and certainly a David's type of player who is a proven winner. Bugger knows who that is though...:(

That's all you had to say to allow me to form an opinion about the quality of your opinions. It's not a very positive opinion that I hold.

So, given your expert knowledge, how did you rate the previous managers?
Expert opinion , don't be daft, just like you another fan. The only difference I don't get hard looking at pictures of MoPo on my bedroom wall.
Sorry have no desire to rate the 28 managers since 1961,will leave that one for the experts.

I wasn't thinking of all the managers, so rather than sidestep the question just give your opinion from Jol onwards.
