To be fair he has always come across well as a character. Never stops trying. I hope for his sake he can turn a corner here.

Anyone else think a loan to a PL club would help him?
Swansea play decentish football and he'd get in their team.

No. Its got nothing to do with loans. Pochettino clearly states he wants to see more in training and he's not going to see that improvement if he's doing that with another club.

I saw that Kane was on the recovery list so could this mean Janssen is playing?

He can see all the wonders in the world in training, but if he gets a game and doesn't impress he's back on the bench.
He needs a good number of games to find his feet and we can't afford to give him that.

Poch: Oi Janssen. Want a Haribo?
Janssen: No thanks Boss.

Poch pleased with Janssens response

Who is your favourite coach Vincent?

You boss, you're the best.

Good boy, your response pleases me. I think I'll give you an appearance in the 91st minute as a reward.

That is a reward. There are plenty of other players in our extended squad who would give anything to have a sniff of being near the first team.

Other than the 28 appearances he's already made you mean?

I know those 28 appearances don't add up to the greatest number of actual games or minutes in the world but if a loan was on the agenda it'd have happened in January. It'll be interesting to see what the close season brings.

He needs to string a number of games together and play 90 minutes of as many of them as possible. His confidence looks shot. He'll end up the same way as Soldado where even the odd goal isn't enough to bring it back.
