So he should. Some of his performances in high profile games have been outstanding.

Are you serious? Because he's been injured, had surgery, and his first game back would be our first CL final. Of course it's news.

My point is that this isn't new news, this has been talked about for 2 weeks already so I don't see it as a new discussion point.

We're at full strength for the first time in the season. Poch will pick the best team based on who is match fit. Winks is in the strongest team so why is this surprising

It's the champions league final. They'll make news out of whether players tuck their shirts in or not - especially with our stupid home European kit.

Poch needs to be cautious on this. There is a difference between fit to play and peak fitness. Tomorrow we need everyone to be in peak fitness condition. Might be wise to come off the bench and influence things if necessary. Just my opinion.

Hopefully he's properly fit. We don't want a situation with either him or Kane where they start and soon after can't go on.

Exactly, and the lad has actually been back in training for longer than Kane.

Still better than playing Dier or a half fit Wanyama alongside Sissoko.
Alternatively, Eriksen could play alongside Sissoko, with Alli, Son, Moura & Kane ahead of them. Playing Winks means dropping either Kane or one of the players that was key to getting us to the final...so it's news, even if not groundbreaking news.

You want half arsed Eriksen in there?
We can't have anyone that shirks out of a tackle playing that far back.
