Stopped reading when he was quoted as saying if you want to win the title nearly spat my beer out so funny poch as if this club will ever win one of those but regardless the start of it was that we were shit again.

It was crap. If its not fatigue, then its complacency & lack of intensity. Simply not good enough from a group thats been heavily billed in the last few seasons. The gaffer has to take responsibility for the crappy formation as well; why we couldn't have started with Lamela, Kane & Moura in a front-three is beyond me. Play a midfield-trio of Eriksen, Dier & Winks would have given us a good balance of creativity in possession. The full-backs never looked quicker, or more agile than Robertson & Alexander-Arnold, so would have made sense to have them tuck into midfield.

The boss needs to freshen up the team with some new faces from the squad. Give different players a run-out because its poor from the ones who are supposed to be senior figures.

This is a tough moment for the club - we are seeing a few things come to the forefront....mental/physical fatigue among a set of players who didn't get a break this summer combined with those who should be reinforcements just coming back from injury or getting slight injuries this season. Finally, in a game of small margins, we could easily have snuck a draw in the Watford game and this one which would have papered over a tough moment.

Think Poch will have to juggle and shuffle through the autumn and into the winter....hopefully the new stadium is ready in a few weeks and that will give us a boost.

A few Weeks ? I will be amazed if Spurs play there this season.

A lot of mixed responses coming from Poch...

He's unhappy with the performance - essentially saying that all our performances have been the same since the start of the season, just different results because of the varying quality of the opposition.

Then he says he's happy with the team and the squad.

He says this is the toughest season yet, because he only got his players together a few days before the season started. But he was comfortable with our lack of transfer activity.

Very mixed - and unconvincing to be honest.

In my opinion, he knows that we will go backwards this season. We didn't have a squad that was capable of winning a trophy last season, and truth be told, was all out to finish 3rd. Despite that we didn't strengthen (and we didn't even get rid of the deadwood) while every single one of our competitors did.

So, no surprise that we will struggle to repeat the performances of the last couple of seasons. Maybe he accepts that - and maybe Levy does too. After all, he's got his new & improved contract, while Levy & Lewis are looking at an appreciating asset on the ENIC balance sheet.

To Dare Is To Do sounds like the punchline for a sad joke.

People that are say Pochettinho is crap need to take a hard look at yourself.

Yeah it's not nice losing especially to Liverpool but it's not the end...we can come back. Last season we beat Liverpool 4-1 since then they have spent heavily and wisely. We are still homeless and haven't invested on new players we ain't far off imo and I'm sure we'll improve during the season.

Is Poch a Patsy for Levy and Enic ? Albeit a well paid one.

Interesting hearing Gary Neville saying that a few new faces around the place really freshen things up and keep the others on their toes. The adjective I'd use to describe our performances so far is 'disinterested'. We've had 3 wins but look utterly unconvincing.

And he is spot on but fortunately our chairman knows best so the team continues to struggle for another year.

Simple fix

Lamela in for Alli
Son in for Kane
Winks in for Dier

3 games later we will see what the mentality is like

I don't wanna see Lucas playing as a striker again. Sure it's got him a few goals but the route one/ look for Lucas round the side football this season has been shocking

Thought Poch was pretty calculated and relaxed in his answers. The man doesn't seem at all stressed outwardly with the recent play and results.

Man is a genius.

I don't believe for one moment that he is relaxed about the last couple of results and how shit the team has been plus I would imagine he had a good look at Liverpool and thought "if only that could be us", but he has to keep his boss happy with that official bollocks which you well know and for that only do I think he did well with.

It’s not just the chairman though is it, Poch doesn’t seem bothered we bought nobody in. If he was then he’d of vented in public.

Poch goes along with what levy bags him with if you think he is calm and happy about not being able to strengthen his squad then you are very naive mate, poch was brought in for that reason because he follows instruction and doesn't complain like Harry would of or most of the top managers around him would have done.
