Model pro. Should play all the FA Cup games IMO. He's earned it.

This will be the true test.

Who be in between the sticks for the semi final and final if we make it all the way?

I have a feeling we will see Lloris featuring from here on in.

Lloris will play, Vorm does well but he will go with best chance to win over sentiment. Vorm knows he is important for the squad but Hugo is the no 1

I don't often express a view on "what the club should do", but in this case, unless they are 100% comfortable that Gazzaniga is ready to step up, they should offer Vorm a favourable deal to stay. He's a fine footballer.

If I understand Pochettino's mind and managerial principles properly, Vorm will play any remaining FA Cup matches, irrespective of opponent.

Lloris came in against Chelsea last season so not sure about that

Normally I’d say Lloris but Vorn has a good match yesterday. That double save was top drawer! Would be very harsh on him to drop him now. Subs still get a medal so it isn’t like Lloris would miss out.

Hugo's not been that great this season by his own standards IMO.
His standards are world class, I can forgive a slight drop in those circumstances. Even with that drop he is still a lot better than Vorm and most other keepers in the premiership. Vorm is a great back up keeper to have, but this is not a time for sentimentality. We would never think of playing Vorm in a PL game or the CL if Hugo is available so I don't see why we should do it here.

Don't think that sends out a good message at all and could be quite uncomfortable for the players to deal with. Might be different if Hugo was really on fire, but he's not.

As mentioned before we bought in Lloris last season for the semi and no-one seemed to have minded then, don't see why it would be different now.

Well if that was really true Poch would play him in our next league match but he won't . It sends out a worse message if you play a reserve keeper in a semi final when we haven't been to a final for 27 years.

One of the great things about Vorm is that he takes that kind of stuff in his stride. Doesn't make it right though.

Makes it right for the team if it gives us the best chance of winning surely?

Lloris looks just as likely to drop a clanger IMO.

He's far more likely to pull of a world class save and keep us in the match which he's why he's the clubs no1 GK and Vorm is backup.
