I was foolishly expecting to read, "Sissoko? yes, he is gone as soon as we can find a mug punter"!

That's made for a depressing lunch time. I'd rather play our youngsters than this dead beat.

I believe poch he is pretty honest when he says things.

Nah. This press conference will have had the same tactical preparations as a premier league game. Levy leaving all bases covered (they are in the US after all)

If Poch and the coaching team think he's worth persevering with, I will defer to their considerable wisdom and judgment. Let's face it what the f**k do I (or any of you lot) know?

I think Poch is being honest in his summing up of the player.

In m\y opinion non of GKN, Janssen or Sissoko made a name for themselves last season, and to a certain extent either one of them or all three could be sold and it wouldn't make a sod's difference to the squad as a whole.

We all have soft spots for the players at the club and i think all three deserve a second season but i do fear that what we have seen so far will not be improved upon anytime soon.

Time will tell i guess.

Why do I think this is a coded way of saying no one else will pay the same wages so we're stuck with him? The sad thing is you can see he's got ability just waiting to produce but the longer it goes the more we have to think about cutting our losses.

someone will want him. in this market a Prem team will offer in the 20s and 70-80k in salary...that should do the trick in a WC year. An interesting one would be Celtic....could look to do a deal with Dembele coming to us and we send Sissoko and 15 odd million.

sell him, buy demarai grey
Would have this kid in a heartbeat. For his age, he has confidence to take anyone on.Sissoko looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights most of the time and just wants rid of the ball when he gets it. I don't like slating our players but we should be cutting our losses on him, think we were sold a stuffed budgie.

I'm no Sissoko fan and never understood why we bought him. Having said that, I've seen him tear teams to bits - we were one of them. He's had 1 season which was predominantly below par and we stand to lose a shed load if we sell him. Another season may turn it around and it will, by all accounts, cost us 6m, which is peanuts in today's market. I think we've painted ourselves into a corner on this one and will probably have to hope for the best.
