If he or the team need to watch a video then they need to watch one featuring Gary Mabbutt and Graham Roberts or even Mike England or Steve Perryman in their respective playing days. Perhaps then he will realise where the problems really are.

Better still, why not invite some of those players for a coffee or to a training session! Too much effort for the modern footballer it seems.

I have read so many negative articles about Spurs in the last few days that it really does seem like the dark days are returning. I really didn't want my first post on here to be so damn miserable, as usually I can laugh off and enjoy the ups and downs of being a Tottenham supporter, but I don't see any positives or good news regarding our short or long term future.
To see our manager so lacking in body language, no fight, no encouraging or cajoling from the touchline. It really does seem like he has no ideas after all. To dally so long regarding substitutes on Sunday was criminal - anyone with the merest grasp of how the game of football is played could see fresh impetus was needed. And anyone could justifiably argue that Harry Kane who is on fire at the moment deserves to start in the Premier League - I mean what do you have to do to get a start? Surely scoring a hat-trick in the preceding game and his willingness to go between the sticks tells you all you need to know about his commitment to the cause. I would have thought a game against a struggling Newcastle at home would have been the ideal time to play a blossoming Harry Kane from the whistle.

Some may say it's only nine games in, give MP a chance, and I may get accused of being reactionary but the warning signs are already there I'm afraid. His unwillingness to drop players, his painful press interviews - He's already stopped saying philosophy and style when he couldn't utter a sentence without those words in the summer. His demeanour and lack of energy on the touchline are not exactly inspiring to the players, and can anyone tell me what has happened to Benjamin Stambouli? So many unanswered questions on and off the pitch, and who's to blame, and when are things going to start to change for the better? Very worrying indeed and it's currently making supporting my beloved team a really joyless affair.

If you disable the Telegraph's cookies (there are various add-ons that will do this for you) they won't recognise you as a repeat visitor. It would break my heart to actually pay for the dross they are writing at the moment!

I agree that Pochetto should have started Kane on Sunday, but to be fair, Kane has been scoring in games, the level of which are considerably below the Prem. so maybe in Pochetto's mind he is not yet a nailed-on starter...... yet. But as many are indicating on here, he should be.
Yes, Pochetto's body language and interview style does appear that he is wilting under the pressure, but he is inexperienced, and we all knew this at the start. His ideas -or philosophy if you like - I believe are still part of his thoughts but he is not the first coach to become frustrated with the players (and Management) at T.H.F C.,The last three were pretty competent coaches (including Sherwwod i.m.o.) and yet they all experienced a similar pattern of gradual frustration of the situation they were in: expectations not matching up to the managerial commitment to build a strong football squad.
I hope Pochetto receives support to achieve this.

I could not have but it better,2 summers ago when I was we had got Baldini in as our D.O.F i knew we were in trouble. The guy made a mess at Roma and was leaving out the back door. But when I saw the players he spent 100 mil on i could have cried. Lamela is has only one foot and any defender can just get him on to him right leg and then push him off the ball. Im not gonna go thur each player. But Loris is our only world class performer. The Goalkeeper. As for Poch,he looks out of his depth... This is looking like Gerry Francis all over again.
