Mauricio Pochettino plans to celebrate his achievements at Tottenham for the first time since he arrived at the club.

Feeling more and more uncomfortable with the noises our manager is making. This plus his 'I don't know' response to a question from his pre-match press conference about whether he will be here next season is a bit unsettling.
Get a funny feeling all may not be well behind the scenes.
Strange we don't have players' award evenings. Just assumed we did like most other clubs.
I disagree. I think everything's fine although we might lose a player or two over the summer.
I think the noises coming from the fanbase has been bordering on discontent and i thunk that is just crazy and embarrassing. Poch and his team deserve better.
I think we have had another excellent season and continue on an exciting growth trajectory. The fans are one thing and we will always have some doom mongers amongst us.
His pointed comment about awards evenings (contrasting to how it was at Southampton) indicates some dissatisfaction so perhaps him and his team feel under appreciated by the club. Hope I am wrong.
I think you are interpreting it wrong. Isn't he saying we had nothing to celebrate before but this year we do? Maybe the past 2 seasons it has been a disappointment as we had a sniff of the title so they didn't feel like celebrating. This season with City winning at a canter then top 4 is really our goal and we have achieved that even with the Wembley factor. I think there is relief and the fact this year has been a bloody hard slog.
Exact quotes below. He explicitly references the last 3 seasons and contrasts to Southampton where they celebrated at the end of each season.
“In the last three years we have achieved massive things at this football club, like playing in the Champions League, but we never celebrate.
“When I was at Southampton (before taking over at Spurs), we avoided relegation in the first season and then finished eighth the next. Each time we had an unbelievable party.
“So this time I am going to celebrate with my staff. For us it is a massive achievement.
Reads to me like he is saying: if the club doesn't think these past seasons are big achievements well I do, and this time I will take time to celebrate with my team.
I agree with him and think it is important for the club to recognise the incredible achievements by this guy and his team!!
Yep, seems like some people just hunt and search for something to worry about and won't stop until they find it.I disagree with your logic. Poch is in complete control of if we celebrate - he has decided not to for the last couple of years. Do you really think Levy, the man who bought him a car as an unsolicited gift, wouldn’t throw a party if Poch wanted? I think Poch is giving himself a break at last after beating himself up for years (his book alludes to this, how angry he was after Newcastle game, how he could barely look at the players etc).
However, if you’re being tinfoil hat about it, you could argue he’s doing it now as he’s not going to be here for long and wants one chance to revel in it. But I’ll leave that to other people

Lol. Tinfoil hat?! Ok to disagree but what's that all about...
I thought debating varying opinions/perspectives is what this forum was about.
