Great signing in my opinion, for the money and could well end up being a bargain buy that becomes a legend like Ginola. A little worried that PSG let him go but thier mistake and hopefully good judgement on our part.
His pace and dribbling skills give us an option we have not had since Bale and Ginola but Moura combines both.

We’ve heard for years that we don’t buy in January unless something special comes up.

I think it might have just happened.

Posted this after the Rochdale game. Think my intuitive conclusion was broadly correct.

A very good performance. Great touch and finishing, good shift of pace, quick creativity, and good commitment. Seems to have a humble yet talented, committed sense about him - i.e. perfectly fits the Poch template.

Obviously only Rochdale, but he seems to have the Lennon impact. I.e. that ability to quickly shift direction and gears and then put in a cross/through ball. The defence is forced to panic and commit more than one defender, creating space for other committed runners. Something that we clearly lack currently - Sonny is probably the only one who comes close. That is why the "park the bus" tactic against us proves to be be quite successful.

Should be a good buy.

P.s. classy from the lads and fans acknowledging Ryan Mason. Top stuff.

Don't be worried about PSG letting him go. They got their expensive new toy in Mbappe in the summer so Lucus wasn't going to get much game time, plus after also spending £200m+ on Neymar, they really had no choice but to let him go.
