Makes sense really; get rid of the players that aren't part of the vision & integrate the newly acquired players who will form the new project. Its important that Levy follow what the gaffer has said & not quibble too much on the price because the shaping of the squad, itself is what's important & not the bank balance.

Think this is somewhat guesswork......Llorente, Sissoko,Rose first and Toby maybe but I feel he will stay but feels now Sanchez will get more playing time. Janssen is another possibility but feel we should give him one more season....there is a class player in there if Poch can get the best of him.

I'd be interested if you rate Morata of Chelsea or Janssen... Who is the better player???

On passion and commitment Id say Janssen, but raw talent and ability Morata.
I think ability can be taught but drive is a mental thing. On that Id take what we already have.

Except that it is not all down to levy. You also have the player, the buying clubs and even the transfer windows to consider.
Also what is our transfer budget and how much will we have to raise through sales to buy our targets?

I think we know there are issues with Rose and Toby unfortunately and we won’t get any better in their respective positions if they are playing their A game.
How do we motivate them to stay without breaking the bank (which I don’t think we can).
Unless Citeh come calling I see five clubs who are pretty similar so it really does boil down to a clubs statement of intent early doors and any potential contract offered.
I hate to say it as it goes against everything I’ve said before but if we want to evolve we need to spend some cash...

It's possible that Poch's recent comments about 'taking risks' were made not for Levy's benefit but to convince the wantaway players of his own ambition. Levy might even have been in on it.

Or maybe it's about convincing joe who flies in this week to have talks with them.

The most important person is Pochettino, a once in a generation manager. Some of his work is very subtle. Levy and co need to back him, because he's backed them.

Poch has done an amazing job so much so that I can't think of anyone else who could have done better, but there is only so far he can go with his hands slightly tied.
For him to push on and really challenge requires heavier investment and this is obviously what he is asking for to take more of a risk and I don't blame him he clearly is ambitious and doesn't want to keep being the nearly man and I welcome that.

Rose has been pretty ordinary after coming back from injury. I suspect any suitors may not feel as inclined as they once did. This is a problem of his own creation. I suspect he will stay rather than leave for an Everton for his last pay day. In some respects I hope he leaves and we get Sessegnon.

I would much rather Toby stay. I think that would send a great message to the rest of the team.

If Poch gets a new contract, along with Toby, it would be the best news all summer. 100%

Would love for us to get Sessegnon and a young player who can play upfront but is also OK sitting on the bench. A lot of German youth that look very good, maybe a change away from our French players. Would love a player like Timo Werner but would be very hard to get.

I'd look at how the english youth is doing in germany and here. We really need to think about how many foreign players we can fit in our squad.
