Pochettino was clear in his forthright post-match press conference that he was not impressed with Spurs’ performance at Vicarage Road.

Surely Poch has to look at himself for this performance because sometimes I just don`t get the guy. Like in the FA CUP Semi against Chelsea or the Juve game, his tactics, his selection and his failure to respond to the changing momentum in the game are just not good enough... He said he was happy with the squad yet has no answers from the bench!! How do you go into a game against one the most physical teams in the league with no Dier or Wanyama? Dembele cannot do the DM role on his own especially against teams with the aggression of Watford I thought that as soon as I saw the team selection.

anyone who thinks Moura is the answer to our attacking problems do not hold your breath.
There are plenty of players that show brilliance on occasions the bulk of the time they are anonymous.
What we require is a player that shows brilliance now and then but is solid the rest of the time; unfortunately Moura from what I have seen is capable and a game like yesterday was one where I thought he would step up but I forgot he was on the pitch my dearest wish is that he will prove me wrong and go on to be that bit of sparkle that we lack on a regular basis.
I know they were all pants apart from Toby and Jan and maybe Trippier so maybe I have taken a wrong stance I hope so

The root of our problem, IMHO, is inaccurate passing. I lost count very early on of the number of passes going a yard behind the receiver instead of 2 or 3 yards in front and v Watford was not an isolated incident. It's a complete momentum killer. We do this all of the time when opponents sit back and our players all become static and the only thing we can do is go side to side. Movement off the ball and passes into space need to be addressed. As an example, Trippier is lethal with a ball to run on to which he can whip into the box, but play it to his feet or behind him and he can do nothing with it at all. Moura v Utd was getting balls to run onto because they tried to push up on us but we have to find a way of getting players finding space against the bus parkers. Winks looked far more capable of providing this than anybody by the way, but Poch was sooooooooo slow to introduce him.

Harsh on Moura. He was Mom in the ratings thread and was far far far more dangerous looking than kane or dele.

Moura did well I thought and carried more of a threat than Kane who is worrying me by his lack of all round form. Still a good finisher he has just lost his dynamic ability to make room for that unstoppable shot...
