I love his style, his attitude to the game and his philosophy. All spot on and something we have not had from any manager at Tottenham in my lifetime.

He is a straight forward guy.

I observed his behaviour with the recent incident with Sissoko.

He sounded a bit like Wenger after the match saying he hadn't seen the incident with the elbow.

But when the charge was made he said, we accept and move on.

Always strikes me as polite and genuine bloke. Breath of fresh air compared to many, not to mention the few who stink the place out.

Noticeable shift in interview style this year. He's getting quite combative. Maybe as his language confidence grows alongside expectation? He used to kind of side step stuff with vagueties, but he's made quite a lot of pointed comments recently. I do love his general style, but it's noticeable.

Maybe its his way of setting the tone for his team he wants to win the league and wont rest until he is a winner.

Bit of a Poch 2.0 developing here. What with his comments about Klopp last week and now this. Showing what a hard bastard he really is.

I don't call congratulating Ranieri a fake nicety.
Just good manners and I'm a little surprised that Mauricio didn't do it.
Fake tough guy if you ask me.

Did you read the article?

"No, I never phoned him," said Pochettino, of how he chose to congratulate rival boss Ranieri last year. "I relayed my message in the press conference after the Chelsea game. My first sentence was to congratulate them and to send a message through the TV.

"I am not fake -- I was not happy. It is like when we are fighting on the bench with the other bench and the culture here is to share a glass of wine in the manager's room.

"Why? In front of the TV, 'Look at me, I am very brave, fighting with everyone,' and then inside like, 'I am very sorry for my behaviour, all the best, cheers, let us have a glass of wine.'

"Very fake. I am not fake. I congratulate him and all the fans of Leicester and the coaching staff and players, but I wasn't happy."

I'd say he did the opposite of pretending to be a tough guy.

No I never do.
I respond to the comments.
Usually a mismatch between the headline and the article

I'm not sure that reading it has made it much clearer.
I mean it's not a matter of life and death after all.
Beat them this afternoon might straighten things out.

Don't need to be fake nice when you can be very nice to them during the game instead, I guess
