The thing I found strangest is the fact that this made the "front" of the BBC Sport website.
For most of today the main three sports headlines have featured women’s hockey, netball and football.Dude, a few weeks back, the most viewed story on the front page of BBC News was a video of a bear on a swing in someone's garden.

Every sport has it's own page on both those websites but they insist on mixing the womens football news in with the mens.
They can try all they like, its uninteresting and only gets clicks because people think it's about the mens teams.

It's not sexism. I follow the THFC Mens team. I want women's football news mixed in with the mens news as much as I want F1 news mixed in with it. That's the point of having a menu on the website, to refine the news to what you want.
