Harry Winks might still be in rehabilitation after an injury-ravaged season but his new five-year contract shows exactly what plans Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has for him when he returns.

Great article. Can't wait to see him back fit and raring to go.

He's had a bit of time on his hands to study those Iniesta clips Poch keeps sending him.

Great boost for him to get his new contract. He certainly brought something different to the team which we've missed a lot this season. Would be great to have him 100% fit for the start of the season.

Great news.
Ironic that he injured his ankle
crashing into some energy drink bottles.
not good for you that stuff.

I never realised it was that bad for Winks . During he’s last spells in the team I felt he really was going side ways and back far to much, to the extent the level he showed during Madrid etc weren’t forthcoming.

He's a terrific player but is he ever going to sort his injuries out? I can't help fearing he's the new Anderton. Presumably our medics know the score and we've planned accordingly.
