Spurs have been fantastic at coming back and winning as we all know , but the one thing that still frustrates the hell out of me is when we go ahead early in games, we always seem to take the foot off the accelerator and then opponent scores against us - and then we seem to start playing properly again. If we can just keep going when we get ahead and put games to bed, then I really believe we can actually win the league - maybe as soon as next season.

totally agree. We're like the horse that needs to be held back, when we hit the front we switch off. We mistakenly believe possession football, which sees our lines gradually retreat and the opposition advance, can choke the life out of the other lot. Especially away from home, even a two goal cushion isn't always enough. Look at the WBA game, where Hugo and the woodwork saved us from going in all square. Our attack clearly had the beating of their defence, but instead we elected to invite them on without intention to counter.

I used to think the accumulative effects on the body through training and games will tell by around March, and that was with the old a training session a day and 2 early cup exits.

But Poch 's training seems to do the reverse, and we're witnessing the team getting fitter as the season goes on. Does he have any magical formulae he feeds the players?:)
