I always favour finesse over power in goals, unless we're talking volleys.

Son all day, he picked the ball up and beat some players twice. Made LuIz look like such a chump. Brilliant!

Plus Dele’s first touch was shit?

Weird thought... if it was Messi who scored the Son goal and Ronaldo that scored the Alli goal would people think the same way?

I voted for Alli but I think part of that is knowing how much of a swagger player he is generally.

That so called shit first touch made the goal possible....it was poetry in fluid motion, Dele's run behind their back line, Kane's ball over the top, Dele's first touch to set up a delightful chip over PC with Spurs fans going absolutely mental in the corner arms aloft Dele runs straight towards.

Dele's goal had such unreal swagger, away at home in the NLD, just everything we want Spurs to be about. Fantastic play from Kane too. The kind of class the likes of Hoddle would be impressed by. I smile every time I think of it.

Son's was absolutely incredible live, no doubt about it, it was a special goal.

I think the repeat viewing test puts Dele's in front though.

Dele's without a doubt. Kane's pass was better and Dele's finish better

I love Dele’s finish, but I will say this: there’s a vid somewhere out there with all of Son’s goals for us and it’s just incredible.

That’s a good question. I think that Son will never be thought of in the same terms as Messi, but Dele has a chance of getting the same sort of recognition as Ronnie.

Live, I'd call it about a push … a lovely moment of audacity from Dele, but Sonny's had that 'go on … go on' quality that's really satisfying.
On video, no question. Dele's you can watch over and over again without losing any of it's magic. Son's isn't the same the second (or more) time around.

The Alli goal was the sort of goal that would get scored against us in the past and we would just go "oh for fucks sake, that's just ridiculous, why always against us?"

In training quite a few players
would attempt Dele's chipped finish.
At a crucial moment in a cup tie
against rivals
very few would even dare
to think about it.

Son's goal has its own momentum
but Dele runs free
calls for the ball
which is cleverly controlled and delivered by Kane
controls and finishes with style and grace.
World class.
Not his first for us
or last I hope

Every time I watch Son’s goal I increasingly notice the poor defending. It shouldn’t detract from a great goal but it does.

Every time I watch Dele’s goal I don’t even notice any Arsenal players, just that majestic, nonchalant finish.
Was going to say exactly the same thing. David Luiz's attempt at a tackle was frankly embarrassing. School yard defending. In general Chelsea were awful that day so for me the goal against Arsenal, even tho it was in the "Caribou" cup, takes top spot.

One was sublime skill that you don’t see every day. One was a standard break and goal
Well I would argue that both were sublime skill that you don't see everyday, hence the debate

After seeing the polls and having read all the opinions with the valid and well argued reason's to choose Dele's goal, I will concede and change my vote from "cannot decide" to "Dele". Anyway, well done Son your goal is appreciated as also being a gem!
