So long as Poch is happy then so am i, and unless he is playing us, which i don't believe, poch has been clear of how he feels about the window.
So let's move on and get behind the fucking team and stop all the moaning, its done, over, closed.
We move into new era, a new fantastic stadium with a squad I Trust.... Coys

Can you share with me how much ENIC have invested please
They definitely pumped £50m in a few years back and I'm pretty certain they bought up all the land required for the stadium build before signing it over to the club in one go.

But this isn't the thread for it.

Thought I would bump this thread as I was feeling pretty negative after the Bournemouth draw but I feel that there is much to be positive about with Spurs right now.

Finished higher that Arsenal again.
Qualified for Europa League, with a manager who has a history of winning it.
New contracts for Dier, Skipp and Tanganga
Harry Kane looking sharp and on form again.
Defence looking more solid.
Toby and Lloris returning to their old selves.
Strong links to a DM to address an obvious weakness.
Son scoring goals again.
Bench looking stronger than ever.
Moura finally showing some consistency.
Aurier showing great team spirit by playing through personal tragedy.
Dier looking far better at CB than he has at CM in recent years.
Virtually no injuries.
Top 4 form since Jose took over despite injuries to big players.
Some promising youngsters being integrated into the first team squad.
Amazing new stadium.
Hopefully more to come from Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sessegnon, Gedson and Bergwijn after a difficult first season.
Jose being upbeat and positive.

Obviously not everything is perfect but things are certainly looking up.

COYS!!!

since this is the positivity thread, you are really, really good at it.
Well, it wouldn't be SC if someone didn't come along and derail the thing. My favourite was when BC started a discussion on the best business class flight option in one of the player transfer threads. That was before he gave it the big alien insurrection and got himself banned. Great days.

My favourite was when he started a thread explaining that people without families couldn't understand economics.

Sounds like there could be a thread for Legendary Posts of SC. Some of us Johnny Come Lately's could probably use an education on the culture that developed into what makes SC what it is today so that we don't buck tradition.

I just loved his determination to provide that Palacios was a better passer of the ball than Huddlestone, that Dawson was shit, that Defoe was slow and that Lennon was all pace and no technique.

Oh, and that Modric was wasted in central midfield

Thing is I did enjoy his posts. He had a thought process and shared his views.

His problem was he thought he was a genius when he was as average as the rest of us.

I agree that his posts were well written and sometimes illuminating. However, he also became married to ridiculous views which he never had the decency to retract even in the face of all reason. Articulate crap is still crap.

No wonder in 2018 there were no more posts after the 11 August. We didn’t buy any players!

It’s obvious to say but our transfer business will be pivotal to next season. I suspect people will be a bit more positive if we start to address the squad. I’ll be over the moon for example if Sissoko is sold.

Indeed. I did wonder if he and Thinktank were the same person. Surely it would be impossible to find similar combis of absolute self-assurance and inability to entertain even a smidgeon of doubt about your own knowledge on any subject under the sun in two separate posters on SC........
