Same as, I play mostly 6 seater SNG's. 10,20,30 or 50 dollar tables. I do ok, nothing amazing but grinding it out I make a profit. I even paid for my season ticket this year from winnings!! I like MTT's as well but don't get whole evenings to play that often. I hate cash, don't do as well, too many crazy hands going on all the time.

Well done paying for your season ticket! It feels good buying things with money that you've won from poker, it's like getting it for free! I agree about cash games, I don't know what it is but I can't do as well in them as I can in SNG's. Must be something about the way I aproach the game compared to the survival aspect of Tournament play. I've had some deep runs in the Sunday Storm on Stars but like you say, they take a long time.

Just on the donation aspect, is there no way you can email Stars, tell them that the game is in aid of charity (kind of!) and ask whether it is possible to reserve say 25% of the prize pool? Pokerstars do have excellent customer service, might be worth a try.

They'll probably need a registered charity number. To be honest it's more hassle than it is worth to set up, there may be a better site for this in the long term- stars just seems the easiest to set up

Also, what are your thoughts on Poker Tracker/Hold 'em Manager type software? As this is a friendly casual game, I vote for a gentlemans agreement to disable it during SC games.

But I'm naked without my HUD! How am I supposed to know whether to float the flop if I don't know your CBet Flop % ?!?!?! Haha yeah happy to ditch Pokertracker for a night :)

I used Poker Pro Labs for a while, it was quite good and stores everything online. My subscription ran out though and now I'm looking at getting HEM 2, I need to be playing more though to make it worthwhile.

To be honest they're only really useful if you play a lot of cash games. The stats aren't that useful tournament wise, unless you play the same people over and over again (unlikely) but if you play cash, then you can build up an excellent picture of player tendencies and weaknesses.

Guys there are only 4 registered players. Whilst I would like to do this I feel if there are less than 8 it seems a bit pointless- there are 8 in the lobby but not all registered for the tourney.
