Soz if there's already a thread on this. This one is made by me so its infinitely better and the mods should respekt that.

Do as the thread title says.

----------------------Pickford
------ Lascelles ---- Stones ---- Maguire
Trippier --- Henderson --- Winks --- Sessegnon
--------- Dele ------------------- Sancho*
---------------------- Kane

*Sterling is in my bad books at the moment so i couldnt possibly include him.

Take that but Foden for Henderson. We need to move beyond Henderson quickly.

Henderson had a reasonably good tournament but at the same time he is limitations were glaringly obvious. He doesn't really have the stamina and agility to play the role asked of him consistently. He's also similar to Slippy G with his passing, he can pick a good pass followed by 5 stray passes over the top which show it was nothing more than a hit and hope.

If Southgate continues with the same tactics then we need a CM who can let the ball do the work whilst having better mobility. Henderson visibly tired at the 70 minute mark, that could be down to the role being asked of him but he does have a tendency to be a bit of a headless chicken at times.
I suppose we could use him at the base of the midfield and pair him with a player who can move the ball quicker and more accurately (like Winks) but I think if we simply want a destroyer we may as just use Dier.

Spurs 4-2-3-1?

Pickford
Tripps/Walker - Stones - McGuire - Rose
Dier - Winks
Sterling - Dele - Rashford
Kane

This would be big time projecting Dele's growth as a play maker.
