What is worrying is that with this emphatic win and with Chelsea not in Europe, they may just grow from strength to strength.

I look forward to their bubble bursting though.
I seem to recall that last time they were looking really good, they arrived at WHL at New Year...

Jose got a big job on his hands, piss poor at the back, Pogba looks spineless in cm, and without Ibra up top there's no real goal threat.

The couple of times I've seen them play they look like they could play all day and not score.

Up to Poch to make sure motivation levels, collectively, are up for every single game.

It was obvious he roasted them at HT, although Bournemouth did tire as well.

But had we started the game like that we probably woud of won, at the very least we should of handled their press better

That's something Poch needs to work on more I think, how to handle the game better when teams press us high and hard..

Ill be honest i dont think it whould have needed a manager to have motivated those players to come out busting a lung to win from the start. Last seasons memories, a chance for top of the table and correcting things that is the motivation.

Surely you go out against Bournemouth thinking come on lads we fucked up last season not this season... no not this season.

I can see why they bought Pogba. He's world class, and ws available. But what they really need is a young 25 goals a season striker. And some decent wide men.

Ibra is out of his depth. Rooney is shot. Mata, Herrera and Fellani arnt good enough. And Micky can't seem to get a gaeme.

Ibra out of his depth? lol

He looks a bit lost. Mind you if you get fuck all service there isn't much you can do. Especially if that service is meant to be coming from Fellaini. But he does look like he's struggling as well with the pace of play in this league. He's had an easy time in Europe last few years. The Premier League is nothing like what he's played in before.

United look like a mish mash of talented players that have no real direction or identity. They don't press, or move the ball with any energy or speed. They need to play Martial up front with Mata behind him. That will solve a few issues straight away.

Paul Pogba, I never understood why everyone raved about him. I still don't quite get it to be honest.

Think that's more to do with the team, contrast how PSG played to how Utd players such a world of difference.

Stick Ibrahimovic in Liverpool or City for example he's be banging them in.

Was mourinho actually complaining about conte and Chelsea celebrating then? He really can't take it when it's against him can he?! I hope he gets sacked and is unable to work his way back to this level, completely disgusting character

And that is your right to disagree mate but dele alli was through one on one with foster it was a poor finish than a good save.
Think we have to stop making excuses for keepers had a worldie or that one of our players had a bad game because of the syrian crisis etc.
We are struggling for goals because we are not clinical enough and too predictable in the approach play, other teams have our number now.
On the liverpool thing they know how to find the net because they move and attack with speed, however their defence is mid table standard where as ours is a title winning one but our forward looks like its not imo.

Don't get me wrong Shelf, I don't disagree with you on the whole, I just disagree for that particular game. Against us Foster was flawless, against the Scouse he wasn't at the same level. Small margins and all that.

But yes, on the whole, our finishing is definitely our Achilles heel and will cost us in the long run if it doesn't improve. That's not just the shot at goal either, but little things like the weight of pass to allow a first time strike or driving the ball across goal BEHIND defenders so they risk putting it into their own net with an interception. We cut the ball back too often into poor areas, allowing a swinging leg to clear. It takes pressure off defenders when we should be ramping it up. They're not all going to work but you apply enough pressure and cracks appear. The City game proved that.
