Bayern didn’t have an unlimited budget.

If all he did was go to these elite clubs and pragmatise his way to titles I could understand the snarky digs st the fella, but he doesn’t, his teams are constantly proactive and offensive and show constant evidence of a coached ethos and offensive tactical application.

Hughes, Mancini and Pellagrini had the same resources, did their City sides show the same qualities Guardiola’s does?
Maybe not, but he went to the team in Germany that do have the biggest budget in their league. I could manage Bayern Munich ffs! And they weren't too clever in the CL if I recall. 4-0 at home to Real Madrid as defending champions?

I'll admit he does want to play football the right way and I'd take him over Mourinho any day.

I actually think a Chelsea win is a good thing. I still think Chelsea will have problems, they can't seem to get any real consistency. We also need United to feel defeat more and Mourinho feel a bit of pressure often because I think it has the potential to be an explosive situation there. If Mourinho's not winning then there's not much else to cheer about there and that pressure will build, whereas we can push past them.

I wonder if the pundits will offer the same criticism they gave us about our away form at the bigger sides. At least we try to win.

Ooo, another touchdown scored by Watford but Everton just scored one of their own. So that's Everton ahead 2 touchdown's to 1. @Gb160

I for one would find it rather amusing if Everton were to sink, taking their permanently apoplectic chimps at feeding time fans with them.
