But now Man U have won that game, we need them to also beat Liverpool. Anything else isn’t really a good result.

If a team had to win this then this is the result for us. Still I’d love to finish above ManU but I’d take 4th right now. Was hoping Mourinho and Conte would have a set to on the sidelines though. Pretty boring game in the end.

Bit annoyed that. It's the fact Utd are 2nd in spite of being the worst team to watch in the top six.

I just want CL locked up before the last Saturday of the season. I don't care if its 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. They all get group stage next season.
Exactly. Top four would be a great season for us considering Wembley and all. I don't care how it happens, and to be honest I'd even take scraping it by a point on the last day!

Can't dwell on other results too much. Jusy got to keep doing our thing racking up the points and see where that takes us.

Lukaku and Courtouis trying hard not to kill each other with their halitosis.

The whole mouth covering phenomenon is pretty annoying. Anyone who has ever watched a post match interview knows that footballers are the least interesting people ever to draw breath so they really needn't bother.

Chelsea’s next game is away to City as well, hopefully we are 4/5 points clear of them by next weekend. Would be nice to have a cushion over them come the game at the Bridge and then we can afford to draw.

Abramovic also seems to be tightening the purse strings the last few years, missing out on CL football would be bad for them.

I think he will replace Morata before the end of the season as first choice. Morata looks awful.
So do you think he is not starting for them yet because of a lack of match sharpness?

Morata impressed the hell out of me earlier in the season. I know who I think is the better player.

What I fear is City arn't at it next week against the Chavs, assuming they win the cup today.

Will their motivation be down a touch? League is in the bag regardless, they can afford a few off days and Chelsea will play out of their skins I reckon.

Think today was a good result in that respect.

Morata is the better player, but he's clearly been shocked by both the intensity of the PL, and the pressure of being a No 1 striker. He never had to shoulder the responsibility at Real or Juve, there were other senior players like Benzema, Ronaldo, Tevez and Mandzukic. His confidence has dipped, and it shows.

Nah, as previously said. We win next week, and City beat them, then it's five points between us and 5th. The gap could be huge by the time we go to the Bridge, which is what we want.

City have a lot to do after today they have Arse again on Thursday.

That said, looking at the table Arse are now 10 points behind us albeit with a game in hand.
