Still plenty of hope for finishing second. This week's results are favourable to us,and hoping the mid-week fixtures are likewise.

I'm waiting for my United supporting brother to change his mind on mourinho. I've told him United won't win a title whilst pep is up against mourinho because pep will always look to build a complete team, whereas mourinho will always be pragmatic which doesn't work when up against a force like this city side.

He just keeps quantifying it with "I'm not bothered about the kind of football he plays, he's a winner ".

My reply was "give it two years you'll be bored of his football"

Winning stuff is great but winning it in style is so much more glorious.

Maureen also made a fool of himself whining before the game about Pep getting away with dives. In fact he was the first to introduce mass diving in his first spell at Chelscum.

Shearer gives out about managers not giving young English players a chance, then criticises Klopp for starting a young English player.

That was a good post match interview but Klopp's easy pickings. I'd love to see that interviewer give the same needle to some of the bigger shit talkers in the PL.

Maureen is absolute poison. How can he succeed in cheating all these years.

Some reports say Arteta was left bleeding, bottles were thrown and Lukaku was also involved.

Some love for Altidore ,won the MLS cup last night with this: ( click link below), I know a different level, but not donkey like at all,I'm sure he would have played better than lukaku today ;)

city have this wrapped up,would be nice for us to end their streak like last year, this weekend shows me we can finish 2nd again,no one else looks better.
Yeah he'd do great for the diving team in the olympics. Soft as baby shit, overrated, and deserves to be booed everywhere he goes for his performance against T&T.

Good set of results which was needed after the last 3 weekends... lets hope for similar with the midweek games so we can close the gap even more before City tear us apart next Sat.

We're the most likely to stop their streak, just as we did last year

We beat them up physically last year, and were just stronger than they were. It really knocked them off their stride especially in the middle of the park. Without Big Vic and Dembele being out of sorts I'm not sure we can take the same approach personally. Sit deep and counter is the only way I can see us beating them tbh, the same as we did against Madrid and the Dippers.
