Clever guys. Much more time to go on the rob in London before catching the last Megabus home.

Gotta love Megabus. Our eldest daughter came from London Victoria last night through Welsh Wales and across on the ferry to Rosslare this morning for £44 return. Her last trip cost only about £4 return.

So because Spurs benefitted it’s ok. But Arse’s new striker scores in his debut and it’s not.

How about Kane being offside when he broke the record v Everton. They didn’t let the offside get in the way.
I clearly made a distinction between kickoff technicalities/formalities and offsides which is strategery relying on the lino being competent. This distinction should be evident. And as far as the rest of your post two wrongs don't make a right.

These aren’t players that are going to be around for 10 years, but they’ll keep Arsenal “Arsenal” for the next couple.
They aren't the players that are in any way shape or form going to help what their main problem is either.
Their problem has been weak in midfield and defence. They've done bugger all to resolve that. Even that embarrasing shower of shite tonight managed to score.

If not legend at least cult hero like Freund. He came at a time when we were short of quality and lit up our side as a very young players.

He played a huge part in our biggest successes in recent history, which still haven't been matched by the current team of world class superstars (winning league cup, getting into CL QF's).

For me he would qualify as a legend but I can understand why others may not feel that way.

To be fair to Aaron, not only did he play for us for 10 years, but he also won a trophy with us, scored the winner against Chelsea on that famous November night, and contributed to our memorable Champions league run under 'Arry. If he isn't a club legend, he was one hell of a servant.

Edit: beaten to it lol

We didn’t let Eriksen’s fast goal get distracted by the early infringement

No one really expects the kick off to be that closely policed (although it will be under VAR) - but we DO expect linesman to see an offside when it's that bloody clear!

You mean the one with the infringing kickoff? Every kickoff has an infringement (Lingard was in our end as well) just like every throw-in is foul in the PL. BT were just stirring the pot. Offsides are a different matter.
Or... I could have read the very next post.

Lennon is a legend...for me its not all about how good you are but more how you serve your club and for me Lennon served us very well over the years. And on top of that he has a lot of memorable performances for us.

And to add to that Dawson is a club legend for me aswel, i am still a bit pissed at the club for denying him the chance of his testimonial...i know there isnt a lot of room for sentimentality in football but he loved the club and deserved it.

Yeah when I thought about it more this is probably the reason. Lennon came around at a time when there wasn't tons to cheer about being a spurs fan and then saw us into better times and so that loyalty somehow feels more special.

Also he played a bloody big part in the good times that did happen, it's fun to laugh at his inconsistent end product (being kind) but he set up crouchs goal against AC Milan and scored THAT equaliser against the scum

Legend.
