Liverpool didn't pack a punch. Lots of the ball possession, got into decent areas but how often was De Gea tested. For once he didn't have to bail them out.

You can argue they should have got a penalty. I think Young on Salah was a nailed pen, and Valencia was far away enough to penalise for handball.

But two isolated moments in 90 and their goal wasn't even their own making.

I'm a little annoyed at how this Utd team are second. They don't play impressive football. But They have a lot of options though. Squad is big and experienced I guess.

Sorry but neither of those were ever penalties at all.

Anyone else think it's strange how lots of Pool fans refer to their players by their 1st names all the time like they know/are on 1st name terms with them? Mo/Phil/Gini etc? Cringe. Clowns.
Absolutely! And Harry, Sonny, Toby, Jan, Mousa agree with you.

Lol..... But have you ever watched a press conference with 'MoPo' where the local reporters are asking the manager questions and referring to our players as Sonny, Toby etc? I haven't but I have with that horse toothed fucker!

Keep going over the pro's and con's of that result and whether it was best for United to win or for Liverpool to win and I really can't decide, all I know is that I'm pleased as punch Liverpool lost, could've gone second might end the weekend fourth.
They'll be hoping their old friend Roy and his team can do them a favour otherwise they'll look up and see Chelsea in their rear view mirror.

Whilst the draw would have been better overall, I had a £10 bet with my Utd mate that pool would win...

I never win bets on Football, so I figured a Utd win was the next best thing.

Well spent tenner really.

Pool fans will read this and whine about how I bought the Utd win now.
