Salah has come in and looks set to smash the premier league record for goals in a season on his first try. He has been incredible and to think he cost 35m or so...i am jealous.

We got an amazing striker - for nothing!

Oh and i would not swap him for Harry in a million years but more that Pool have managed to purchase an absolute game changer for a relative steel, and also the fact i thought it would be Harry to break that record.

No he is a steal in today's market. If you think that we paid, what, 28 million for Soldado?

Salah will not be at Liverpool beyond next season. His history proves it. He'll be another Suarez. That is the difference between him and Kane. There is also no promise he'll retain his form or his loyalty. He's 25. If he were a Kane, where was his form in previous seasons?

Great player. Remember him playing against us for Basel and thinking we should bid, but I think there are players who are truly the real deal and then those who hit super form once or twice in their career. I think Salah is the latter. He's a Vardy.

Right then Newcastle ... Would it be too much to ask for you not to roll over today against Arsenal ?

You know it makes sense.

Palace-Brighton was on TV here yesterday. Crucial win for Palace but they are a poor side being saved by two decent players in Zaha and Milivojevic. We've got Watford-Palace next Saturday. Yippee.

The hashtag today is #NewArs, which is also what I hope the Geordies do to the Gooners.
