And Woolwich hopefully.

I'm currently watching Juve v Napoli, all the players on both teams have a weird red mark on their faces, it obviously signifies something but I have no idea what.

Edit: its to *raise awareness against violence to women apparently.

Forgot all about Woolwich v AM this week.

*Never heard of something like that before.

Learning new stuff every day with this early onset thingamajig.

This is one of the things about Monday night football, I thought it was good that we were playing Watford in a night game but so many of these Monday night games seem to be flat and poor, or is it just a coincidence? Hopefully it won't be the case with us!

That was a belting last 15 minutes, Newcastle had a right go and were maybe a little unlucky.

Rafa has done a cracking job there considering the way the club is run and the lack of investment, they play a decent brand of footy too...

Everton fans are being really harsh on Allardyce tbh.

Yeah we all know the football is shite and he's a massive bellend but he's done exactly what has been asked of him. What did the Everton fans expect when they appointed him?

By all means think he's not the right man to take you forward, I think most would agree with that. But all this abuse is a disgrace considering he's saved the club from far bigger problems. I think a "thank you, but goodbye" is a much better attitude to have towards him.

That club was in panic mode under that amateur chancer Unsworth. Yeah they'd beaten West Ham but they had no consistency whatsoever, they'd have been down or very close to it.

They are and they aren't.

If they didn't show their dislike for him then the club may think it's a good idea to keep him on board and the fans rightly want the club to show more ambition in this respect. I also hardly think he's done a spectacular job either. I don't think they were in severe danger and once they got into the comfort of mid table Allardyce started to get all big-headed once again and do what he always does and absolve himself of all blame when they stopped playing/winning. They had a terrible run of form at the start of the year.

I'll put it another way. If Allardyce had come into Spurs would you be happy? I think the majority on here wouldn't.

Growing up, I always felt a vague sympathy/understanding between us and the blue half of that town. So many times we've been on the verge of something cool, so many times we've been let down - Everton broke that top four with fanfares of them finally hitting the big time but other than that you could, until recently, pretty much replace "Everton" with "Spurs" in a lot of the stories of the ups and downs and it would work out.

Mate Everton were shocking, bar WBA at the time they were arguably the worst team in the league. They were just lucky in the end that there was that period were the whole bottom half was separated by about 4 or 5 points.

This is a very poor Everton team filled with average to poor players, the only standouts being Pickford and Coleman who are probably just about top 6 quality.

Allardyce hasn't done anything spectacular but he's stopped the slide that I think might very well have happened. He's picked up points, and if I was an Everton fan at the time i'd have bloody taken that regardless of the style of football.

Yeah, I wouldn't want him next season, but I think he deserves more respect from the supporters.

Regarding Allardyce at Spurs then the most applicable scenario would have been 08/09 after Ramos. To be quite honest, had Allardyce come in that season and taken us to 8th place like Everton are in now i'd have the same attitude. He wouldn't be the right man the following season quite obviously, but I'd thank him for the hard work in making us safe. It wouldn't sit right with me for our fans to be abusing him.

Steve McMahon is absolutely ridiculous in this, he sums up Liverpool fans up to a tee :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I saw this yesterday. If you didn't know who he was you'd assume they'd just dragged some skally in off the streets of Merseyside.

His reasoning for Van Dijk being in the team is insane, even Shreeves has to say to him numerous times "it's team of the SEASON".

And his case for Robertson too, considering he's only kicked on from the second half of the season.

When he jokes about "Lovren" you get the impression that he actually half means it. There really is something in the water there!

It was funny watching Shreeves and Bellamy just wind him up towards the end, everyone can see it's a bit of fun but nooo Liverpool absolutely have to have their players in there lol

We've got Liverpool-Stoke on TV this weekend. 2nd time this week it's been Liverpool. The last two weekend games were Palace-Brighton then Watford-Palace (although not much choice...) so maybe the TV network is choosing teams in batches!

Liverpool do have form for struggling against teams down the bottom. Maybe Roma's 2 away goals will make Klopp think twice about that tie and he'll rest players here. Would be good to catch them this weekend and go above them when we're level on games.

It's going to be boring waiting until Monday night for Spurs, but West Ham will probably get smashed vs City and there's the United/Arsenal game on Sunday too.

Swansea - Chelsea is the only game that really matters before we play. Even though we should never not take 8 points from our remaining four it would be nice to not have to.

When was the last time we had that? Burkinshaw or more likely Bill Nic I'd imagine.

Of course, this stat counts Eddie Howe and Shaun Dyche from the time of their promotions, because they've both been at their clubs longer than Poch but a lot of that time has been in lower leagues.

That's right. Burnley & Dyche also got relegated after their first season in the premier league

He clearly only watches Liverpool games.
I'm largely oblivious to who Robertson even is, because I really only watch Spurs.
