The thing with Arse is they have two strikers who if one isnt performing you can bring the other one on and vice versa

Unfortunately we perhaps dont have that and that is a huge plus for them

We'll remain 5th a few more weeks. Gonna be a bit longer for top 4 after the inevitable beat down we'll take next Monday.

That was a great goal. When they get going they're a real threat going forward now, you can see how they're dangerous. At the moment it seems they can get away with the balance, their attack is making up for any incapabilities at the back. The better teams may still potentially tear them a new one because of it, but they look much more equipped to pick off a lot of smaller teams, which for them is more important IMO.

When you can look to bring on the quality of Aubameyang then you're in a pretty good place......unfortunately

Still look suspect defensively but they'll be causing teams problems going forward.

They seem to slowly but surely get back to their old self but they still have problems defensively and don't think their mentality is all that great - lack of leaders and players that can put in those gritty performances.

Emery seems to have given them their fluidity back, they lost that under Wenger the last couple of seasons when the players stopped responding to him. However their problem has never been this, it's always been the soft under belly that they have.

When tiredness creeps in and the games come thick and fast let's see if they can still respond because I don't think they will.

There is still a vulnerability about them, as show in most of that first half but they have done quite well to completely shift the pattern of the game since Leicester scored. They have quite a nice flow about them going forward now though and you would fancy them to score in any game, unfortunately.

They can be hurt though, and on another day they could have been 2 or 3 nil down before they got one back but this game is unlike others, like the West Ham, Everton or Watford game, they deserve to win this one.

There's no pressure on or expectations of them. That's why they're doing well and are on a great run. But a long season. And let's not forget they're in Europa.... Clutching at straws, moi....?

Bar one or two seasons they basically always started the season well during even the later Wenger years. I still think we'll finish 10 or so points above them.

Their next three matches, v Sporting, Palace and Blackpool are nailed on wins.

The interesting one is the Liverpool game. That will be the tester.

The only team they have beaten in the top half of the PL is Watford so far.
